What is T-stance?

T-stance: Keep the feet apart to form a T stance. Put the right tiptoe obliquely forward with weight on the right leg. Turn the body to the right slightly. At the same time , raise the left heel and place it hehind the right heel with the tiptoe touching the ground, to form a right solid and left empty T stance. Tai Chi Chuan, in the basic routines of Parting the Wild Horse Mane and Single Whip, use the T stance for holding a ball.(Fig . 4-5).
