Chen-style TaiJi Single Sword is one of the short weapons of Chen-style Taijiquan.

It covers the skills as thrust, cleave, mop, prick, sweep, cut, push etc. Combined with the flexible body work, agile and steady footwork and diversified changes,it fully exhibits the distinctive features of Chen Style Taiji Sword. Practitioner brings the sword with his body. Continuous movements linger on; gentleness and force coordinate with each other at a speed alternating between slow and fast regularly. Changeable movements connect harmoniously, defending the practitioner from all directions with forceful techniques.
